New album by Yeah Yeah Yeahs for spring 2013

12 years of musical career. 3 albums. Several Grammy Award nominations, monumental festival appearances and a string of singles that still today can be heard in almost any alternative music nightclub. Here's a summary of the history of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, legendary New York band of indie rock that has decided to reignite coupon to announce the release of a new album fourth and facing the 2013.

As the presenter has confessed angelina station KCRW, the formation of Karen O released this new compact at some point in spring next year. It was not immediately much more information, but the fact that James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem has denied produced this new LP. "Just did a fun little thing with them. Nothing big, neither they nor I have time to do something together. I have not produced their album. They're just friends. "- James confessed to the Huffington Post.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs is a marked trend from disk out every three years. In 2004 he published "Fever To Tell", 2007 "Show Your Bones" in 2010, "It's Blitz" and now we have learned that in 2013 it will release its fourth studio album. Mathematics not fail these kids, no. Another thing is that they can overcome the effect of "It's Blitz". Both the press and audience crowned so hard to be seen whether the golden trident still has petrol for starting this unstoppable machine dance punk that became like us so much in the last ten years old.

Back in the ocean with Jay Malinowski (Bedouin Soundclash)

A man. An old guitar. A hopeful horizon, with the silhouette slightly blurred by icy deciduous trees. So as I imagine many of the landscapes described internally to listen to me "Brights Lights & Bruises", probably my favorite songwriter album of 2010. Jay Malinowski, who has headed it for 11 long years to reggae-folk-rockers Bedouin Soundclash, cried out to heaven. With the Montreal cracked voice broke the sky, while the stars came down to rock on his lap beautiful compositions like 'Into The Fire' or 'Vacant Youth'. Time is not rendered justice to an album of 10, still today remember with tears. But Jay did not give up, and so today, two years after it all, returns to scene. But not alone, no. Now is accompanied by a string trio called The Deadcoast and together published on 20 November an EP titled "Indian Summer" (Pirates Blend).
If in the previous LP Malinowski cracked the sky, this time the target is the ocean of the Canadian sound sharp attacks. More specifically in the Pacific, just the singer says in a news release. "The album is a nostalgic memory of how I grew up near the Pacific Ocean in the town of Gastown, where I finished recording the album." You only need to listen to the first preview of the album - 'The Pacific Gyre', attached below - to appreciate the comments. The stark acoustic voracity Malinowski has been converted into a crystalline sound on the instruments subtly loom large role, surrounding and embracing at all times (and sharper) members of Malinowski.
Probably we will not be so impressed with "Indian Summer" than "Brights Lights & Bruises". However there are many nuances in the glassy style of 'The Pacific Gyre' that make us an interesting aftertaste introspective sense heading into this upcoming release. We will have to wait with great eye and mainly, his heart wide open.

Father John Misty, star of a wild culinary path for Primavera Sound

Passing month, the month that I get to review new videos have been posted on the net about Father John Misty. I'm a fan of this man end, both the musical ("Fear Fun" still continues to look me a fucking great) as in the comic. Because Tilman is also a comedian first, so his comments as some of his suggestive gestures are the most fun. Evidence of this we have a thousand: from the interview he did with CHARTattack up comic explained as direct as in last July at the High Noon Saloon in Wisconsin.

The last video horny ex battery Fleet Foxes appear on the network takes place in our beloved Primavera Sound. As you know Father John Misty played the Barcelona festival, so the MTV took advantage of their presence to convince an insane comment mission based on the food that is sold in the festive city. Commenting everything as if the fast food culture was rooted in Mediterranean cuisine, Josh talks about the burgers ... and even have time to do a special analysis Telepizza barbecue pizza!

There are many funny moments but as we are left with the "extra chemicals, please" ("Extra chemical products, please") and the pair of situations where crushed affirming himself to be a second-rate artist. Something like this could only mean someone as big as him, we love you friend Tilman! Already looking forward to seeing you again in December for playing, and encouraging smiles in our country.

Mad Season boxset release a juicy early 2013

We kept waiting to learn more about the new album Mad Season, but surprisingly we just heard via Exclaim.ca in 2013 will also be on sale exquisite boxset that will delight fans of the group of Layne Staley. This compilation, which will be released on March 12, 2013, will have both a remastered version of "Above" - the original album Mad Season - as well as The Moore concert on DVD, and a pile of live recordings that never have come to light.

Drummer Barrett Martin recently spoke with people in the interview Sunbreak and confirmed that the boxset will also feature three songs that McCready and Martin himself recorded with our beloved Mark Lanegan. "One of those songs was composed Us Peter Buck, and the other was myself and Mike. They are three of the hardest and most beautiful songs that have never left the bosom of Mad Season, and I am convinced that the worship Layne and Baker "- Martin commented on the alternative music website.

Looking to the second album Mad Season, Barett and McCready must be very loose material. If not do not understand that were published three new songs in a boxset that part as one of the most lucrative products that we can find in early 2013.It will play to save! That in view of new Moore's live DVD can be as great.

Vedder, Springsteen and Morello played together in Chicago

Open to the public since 1916, Wrigley Field, known for being the home of the Chicago Cubs, has hosted concerts for many artists such as Brad Paisley, Paul McCartney and Pink Floyd. The latest to join this select list of musicians was Bruce Springsteen, who played on the 7th September at the iconic American stage. The Boss, aware of the historic nature of the evening, decided to surprise everyone with two special guests: Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) and Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine).

Previously we had seen Bruce Vedder and collaborate with Morello, but had never had the opportunity to see these three great musicians on one stage coinciding. Each began working separately in the evening (Vedder with 'Atlantic City'. 'My Hometown' and 'Darkness In The Edge Of Town', and Morello with 'Death To My Hometown', 'Jack Of All Trades' 'Ghost of Tom Joad') in order to gather all to the sound of the first notes of "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out 'and timeless classic' Twist and Shout '.

Eddie Vedder, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello, providing there together with the audience. Perhaps we could ask for more?

Los Campesinos! + Dry The River in Barcelona

Exciting stage begins largest concert of the year. Now when you bring together one after another bolazos those we like, among which include the latest proposals from the Spring Club (blessed be the musical offerings of the festival) to the latest concert dates Grupazos The size Gaslight Anthem, Refused or Van She. Unfortunately on Sunday could not happen to see Jack White bolus attended by my colleague and friend Sebas (chronic here), but I overcame that little disgusted to learn that he had a ticket to see the first big double bolus of the season: the Los Campesinos! + Dry The River at the Music Hall of Barcelona.
The night started with Dry The River. If I'm honest I will say that this band was the one I called the attention of that night are the hours I've spent listening "Shallow Bed" and was much anticipation I had put in that action. Fortunately the experience turned out much more rewarding than I expected at first, go bolazo!
Undoubtedly this hour of indie rock / folk has been the best I've enjoyed this year. The setlist was not surprising. All we expected and what the band is limited in this respect, and it makes sense because they only have one album to their backs. What I came to really impress is the ease with which it comes to move and excite the public. They were motivated, energetic and turned towards an audience that gradually began to feel immersed in a scene framed by lush forests populated by huge deciduous trees. The moment 'Weights & Measures' was perhaps the most representative of what has been said, no amps, no mics DTR took to try his luck with an interpretation mingled more intimate version of the group with the most rockeramente apotheosis and fierce. Here's a recording of the short introduction to the topic.
At the end of the concert our photographer Rosario told me that Dry The River seemed the "Biffy Clyro's folk / rock British". Personally I think he was right to make that comparison, when Londoners roar, roar of truth. With extreme violence that manages to balance on a pinpoint its most slow and melodic. 'Demons' was a great example of this exact balance of sensations that elevates the live of these guys. They are good!
If Dry The River was the face of the night folkie, Los Campesinos! was the facing the euphoria and dancing. The Barcelona public already knew (there are several live performances in Barcelona) as most of the public gathered at the hall to start September skipping and jumping to the beat of sparkling guitar riffs these lads from Cardiff. Input remember impressed me, that seven types of seeing on stage as the Music Hall is something very interesting and worth seeing. Quite another is the direct end result: except some point exception ('Baby I Got The Death Rattle' 0 'We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed', among others) and Gareth effusive energy, the band abused autopilot.
Speaking of his time was downright direct linear except the singer, the rest seemed to be in a bubble that prevented them from acting naturally. True, they tried, and in more than one occasion, but I was under the impression that the audience did not get to finish jump in your game (and I mean completely, not a few), except when 'You! Me! Dancing ". It was in that song the audience awoke suddenly to let the soles of the shoes with the bright sound of the great song that have better prepared the creators of "We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed" and "Hello Sadness".
Shortly after 23:00 Music Hall lights came on and left the room smiling. Perhaps the experience of Los Campesinos! was somewhat bittersweet but apparently in Dry The River we made it you had to be at that concert. Great Budweiser Live! Mixtures are thus happy that day, that the musical life continues at the Music Hall!

Why the animosity of Billy Corgan to Chris Cornell

Billy Corgan is not exactly one of those people who say he has a way with people. Every X time always ends up appearing in a commentary that pokes some of his colleagues. Pavement, John Mayer, Radiohead ... the list of victims is huge! Incredibly the last to receive verbal shrapnel from the leader of The Smashing Pumpkins have been Soundgarden, group that Corgan has said, "have made a final round to raise money," or "back just for the money."
Leveraging an interview with the radio station Channel 93.3, Corgan has admitted that there is a back story behind the bitterness he feels towards Chris Cornell. Apparently all goes back to five years ago when The Smashing Pumpkins returned to action. "Chris Cornell was someone I considered a friend, and therefore would never say anything bad about him. But when we came back as a group in 2007, he made an interview in which he said that our reunion was "illegitimate." I usually have elephantine memories for those who hit me straight in the face. " Nevertheless Billy recognizes the good work of Cornell and his band, or at least to some extent. "Cornell is an incredibly talented guy. I was a fan of their second EP and still believe what was great about this band. But when we sit down to talks about what makes each one, I will not protect anyone. I do not appreciate when someone of my generation, who at the time I considered a friend, decided to pee on me. And over that same time when you are recording an album with Timbaland. "
Now the thing is discussed and recomentada doubt that things get worse, at least for part of Cornell. Corgan remains to be seen if you can put up with the mouth closed during the coming weeks. That it is very difficult to predict. Who will be the next to receive the lashes of the Smashing singer? Place your bets, gentlemen!

Madsen live in the Tonhalle

On 11.10.2012 is a German indie rock quartet from Munich, whose name derives from the name three of its members: Madsen. The brothers John (guitar, vocals), Sebastian (vocals, guitar) and Sasha (drums, vocals) from Wendland music since 2004 together with Niko Maurer (bass). With all their last three albums made it Madsen in the top 10 of the German album charts: "Goodbye logic" reached number 8 in 2006, "Peace in War" in 2008 on the 6 and "Labyrinth" 2010 at the 7th A few days ago, the new album "Where it begins" appeared. Sebastian about the creative process: "The album has been out of the moment, from the gut. With 'Labyrinth', we thought about a lot. "

"Labyrinth" was indeed a great success commercially, a great pop album and an album for the stadium, but "that we were not necessarily," says Sebastian. Now a new beginning has since reorientation. With a new label and new management, the back is "Where it begins" emerged - an album that also had good "Where it starts again" can mean. Because Madsen is a rock band from the country. There, the Wendland, has chosen to relocate them for the recording of the new album also back; to make everything look like the first two albums.

When asked what was the main driver of "Where it begins," replied Sebastian: "The main drive is fixed. The motto was to practice, practice, practice as if we were starting a new band. "Reboot is able to Madsen. They feel as if they have pressed the reset button. As they might have found themselves to themselves.

Smoke & Jackal is the new musical project of Jared Followill

Recent years have been torture for fans of Kings Of Leon. Undeniably KOL are not in your best time: after canceling several tours as disparate reasons, members of the band that gave us "Because Of The Times" and "Only By The Night" live immersed in absolute silence, as if it knew in a clear and accurate if they, as a band having future. I do not know if you remember but went to the October 31, 2011 that Nathan told the media that this break would not last more than six months, but here we are restless and anxious, knowing nothing of what these guys are thinking .

Luckily not all idle within Kings Of Leon, Jared Followill, bassist, has just announced that it has joined Nick Brown (Mona) to form a new band called Smoke & Jackal. Surprisingly this interesting duo has already recorded an EP - "EP1" - which will be released on October 16 on RCA Records. Smoke & Jackal apparently recorded this small compact compact in less than a week in the studio in Nashville Brown. "It was all about tone and vibration we felt in that moment" - said Brown in a statement. "No second thoughts, just wanted to enjoy every moment."

The first breakthrough in this work, which will be released on August 28 via iTunes Store and is titled 'No Tell', and can be played right in this post. True, I did not expect anything of the song but I'm out enjoying it. The tiny pop with bluesy reminiscences of 'not Tell' is very reminiscent of U2 and those of the 80 subjects inciting night driving in complete solitude.

We will have to monitor what these two guys. Who knows, maybe there is a lot more crumbs Smoke & Jackal what may appear at first glance.

The solo career of Ben Bridwell (Band Of Horses) is red hot

The musical interests of the members of Band Of Horses has exceeded any expectations in recent months. On the one hand launched Tyler Ramsey "The Valley Wind" in September 2011. Ryan Monroe, who is in the leadership training keyboard born in Seattle, did the same with "A Painting Of A Painting In Fire" will issue only a couple of months. Even the bass player (Bill Reynolds) has been busy with various projects of a commercial nature under Tsunami Producer Management. All this movement has led us to ask a question: What Ben Bridwell? Will we get to enjoy a day of some kind of solo album from legendary singer of the band of horses? The answer to this puzzling question has been revealed in an interview with Spanish magazine Rockzone publish on its September issue.

"I recorded my first solo album a year ago." - Ben commented on the known state of alternative rock magazine. "It is recorded, mixed and mastered. What happened is that is not yet a perfect time to launch. I now know is that I'll get to work to record a second in this upcoming Christmas. I've long given the idea of launching in 2015 a "dayview" boxset. I know it is still a long time to reach that point but I must respect the contract I signed at the time with Band Of Horses, and the seal that binds me until then. "

There is still a pile to get the 2015 but is great to know that the interesting singer of the band is getting full recording of personal things. Who knows? Maybe the issues sound so lonely and so well as' Heartbreak 101 'or' St. Augustine ', one of the issues in more printing "Bridwell" of all published to date. Already eager to throw the gauntlet to the boxset ...

The best female voice in the rock business: Halestorm live backstage

Halestorm im Oktober live in der Backstage Halle in München
From left to right: Josh Smith (bass), Lzzy Hale (vocals), Joe Hottinger (guitar) and Arejay Hale (drums) - photo: PGM Promoters Group Munich Concert AgencyWho earlier this year in February, has already had the pleasure of experiencing the hard rock quartet Halestorm as support for Shinedown in the theater factory, now has every reason to rejoice, because on 10/10/2012 Halestorm come back to Munich - but not this time as opening act, but as a headliner. You can see there the whole in the backstage room. The two hallmarks of Halestorm are also named after the band because the enchanting singer Elizabeth (from fans and colleagues affectionately called "Lzzy") and the crazy drummer Arejay both share the same last name Hale.
The sibling pair convinced the one by Lzzys incredible rock voice, which is not without reason by some critics as the "best female voice in rock 'n' Roll" ("best female voice in rock and roll business") refers. On the other stand by Halestorm Arejays crazy drum solos from the foul amount produced. At the last gig in Munich earned Arejay incredible audience reaction, because, among other things, he used his stick as pools and about half of its individual parts played with bare hands.
More than 300,000 copies sold of their self-titled debut album and two Top 10 singles in the USA with the radio hit "Get Off" and "It's Not You" speak for themselves.
Halestorm live in October in the Backstage Halle in Munich
Halestorm with the names of donors Arejay Lzzy Hale Hale and at the center - Photo: PGM Promoters Group Munich Concert AgencyNow the four rockers from Red Lion, Pennsylvania have new ammunition in his luggage: With the second album, "The Strange Case Of ..." Halestorm to offer an unusual and impressive stylistic diversity openness. That (s) has to be open to new things in the male-dominated world of hard rock music, alone Halestorm show already by several song titles on her new album: From the popular themes of world literature such as "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde "is" Mz Hyde "(" Misses Hyde "and spoke instead of hackneyed phrases like)" Brothers of Darkness Daughters of Darkness "(the" Daughters of Darkness ")" of the will "... singing and sometimes crying. Just rock singer.
Lzzy makes no distinction between authentic heavy metal poses and fashion spreads in magazines. Offensive, powerful, yet sexy and feminine at the same time - no problem for them. Their ties with the hard style music Halestorm demonstrated both extensive tours (by Shinedown including with Stone Sour, Disturbed, Megadeth, Papa Roach) and published on the 2010 EP "reanimate". On this EP they covered songs from Skid Row, Guns n'Roses or Temple of the Dog and even took before and even a Beatles Lady Gaga track. It was an allusion to the fact that one might expect for the upcoming album a new direction.
This realignment has definitely succeeded in April, published with the album "The Strange Case Of ...", because the record demonstrating Triet all the stylistic diversity of this young quartet. The first single, "Love Bites (So Do I)", which immediately landed at number 10 of the U.S. charts, Halestorm took on their toughest and fastest song so far.
In contrast, there are some very intimate, sometimes on the piano and soulful ballads, intoned, arranged pop-oriented moments. "We have thrown all our experiences in the pan and spread in every direction," says Lzzy. "There are absolutely no restrictions on us. This is the ultimate freedom. "

Great musical moments from the TV series

Before getting into the whole mess of memory Binaural spend much of my free time to watch TV series. My love affair with them began with "The OC", a series of adolescent nature led me to discover the world of "soap operas" air teenager. From this I drifted towards products of all kinds: from Supernatural, Prison Break or True Blood until Californication, Alias, The Big Bang Theory or the classic of classics which was consolidated with JJ Abrams: "Lost".
This post is a modest tribute to those times when music has had a leading role on the small screen. The selection is very subjective so I would love to pudieseis attached in this post, by way of comment, those other scenes from TV shows you liked most.
Be careful with the spoilers of the videos!
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
The first season of The OC was the first I swallowed in life but it took a long time to feel attached to end the series. That was permanently in the Season Finale of the 1st temp. where, in a masterly way, the filmmaker mixed in slow motion images of Orange County with the delightful musical texture of 'Hallelujah' by Jeff Buckley.
Vertical Horizon - Give You Back (
Alias is a series that fascinated me, fascinates me and fascinate me for the rest of my life. Many people know this but the reality is that the whole legend of JJ Abrams began with the appearance on the scene of the character of the intriguing spy Sydney Bristow. The end of the first episode, with a conversation between Sydney and her father and "Give You Back 'by Vertical Horizon playing in the background led me to know what you might be able to this great classic of the idiot box.
Mama Cass Elliot - Make Your Own Kind Of Music
Speaking of "Lost" is the same as talking 'Make Your Own Kind Of Music', a classic of Mama Cass Elliot who became ultra popular because of the spectacular intro of the first episode of the second season of this series. Who was not checkered with what happened in this episode? The guest appearance of Desmond left me speechless. What about you?
Pearl Jam - Nothingman
I must confess that 'Nothingman' has always been my favorite song. It is this fact which compels me to admit the great affection I have for the end of 2 × 10 of "Californication". Few scenes in this series show the tender side romanticón and Hank Moody, probably the wildest character on American television. I still remember the "Unfaithfully yours, Hank Moody" in the final seconds. Do not you think that this scene was worthy of a season finale? I do believe so!.
Popout
Snow Patrol - Run (One Tree Hill 1 × 22):
I will say of One Tree Hill. I grew up with this series on the WB / The CW and even today I continue to love her. Musically, it was one that had better sequences. One of them was the last episode of season one. A season finale in capital letters, with 'Run' by Snow Patrol as a backdrop and a Luke Scott had no choice but to flee the place where he had grown.
Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger
This is probably one of the horny scenes of the recent history of the U.S. series. And best of all, began as a mere making false and not another narrative sequence number of the brothers Winchester. The work of Jensen Ackles is acojonante, what is the bastard estilazo!.
Tony Lucca - Devil Town
No voice-over. Without any part of the score of Explosions In The Sky. A hair, the raw. Such was the dramatic end of the first season of Friday Night Lights, which we used to see as a visual overview everything that had been happening in the small town of Dillon (Texas). Interestingly musical managers Friday Night Lights had chosen the cover of "Devil Town" by Bright Eyes as a first choice for the soundtrack of this point of the season, but the band Conor Oberst flatly refused. Luckily Tony Lucca composition there was nothing wrong with the sequence.
Bloc Party - Modern Love
We just our review of this first part of the post with the sequence starring Robin and Ted Mosby in the season finale of "How I Met Your Mother". Rain, "love is in the air 'and' Modern Love 'by Bloc Party in two of the sweetest moments of the entire series on CBS.

The pedestrian zone

In the late 1960s, was Germany's longest pedestrian street as an urban feat. The objectives of the city were high: Full-bodied was sought "to life filled areas to create, complement each other and into the side streets into effect" in order to find an "optimal solution which over the centuries shaped image of the road and . open spaces increases in efficiency and revived, the people familiar Munich city as intensively as possible, bring near and recognize that Munich's own life of a city with ancient heritage makes "The price was high: not only the commercialization of the much vaunted road convoy Kaufinger- / Neuhauser Strasse and the atrophy of the parallel streets to delivery zones, but also the widespread abandonment of the remaining streets and street scenes around the old town, which they did without hesitation to sacrifice just pushed away from the old cars. Munich would become a town around the center, through which one could pass unhindered through it - just what if the buildings on the right and left largely to the pickaxe had been handed over?
A plan so right from the venom of the closet "Free travel for free citizens' group from the 1960s shows how Munich was to be rebuilt at the same time with the system of the highly acclaimed pedestrian zone. With this plan, the city in anyPublication appears in any official cost is - so it appears that the city be ashamed of his now - Munich's city planners have the time on the basis of the first urban development plan in 1963, the so-called Jensen's plan to create Remedur: The car that went like this then the Currency must, everywhere and anywhere. And takes the city for drivers and the pedestrian zone, the passage way through the city center, then the car would have to transport, the former belief, wide aisles be beaten elsewhere. By bombing the city was already badly damaged - that had favored the proposed radical cure certain. But Munich was destroyed a total of less than many other German cities.
One no longer comprehensible Abrisswut has eliminated without even alleged traffic needs in the 1960s and 1970s, valuable building stock. That, though, the city council of Munich decided to rebuild its traditional form in 1945. Erwin Schleich has published about this "second destruction of Munich's" 1978, a book well worth reading today, which, significantly, the time could not appear in a Munich publishing house, had come out but in Stuttgart. But the traffic planning of the 1960s, "cleaning up" history would have been concerned with thoroughly. It shows the plan shown here. All road sections marked red in it should get bridges and ramps, all dotted lines indicate planning of underpasses for motor vehicle traffic.
For example, should the heart be in Schwabing, in the Boulevard Leopold about the level of the university canteen, a ramp dug into the ground from which would have made a tunnel under the entire eastern Schwabing and into the already in Hitler's time for a broad parade avenue rolled-out Queen Street will lead, by the turn, want to propose in a tunnel beneath the present-day eastern city ring through to a route that had been across the Gärtnerplatzviertel, and then again in a tunnel beneath the flower street and Sendlinger-Tor-Platz to enter into the corresponding aufzubrechende Pestalozzi Street.
The Barerstrasse would be between the district and art galleries in the City Hall was broken by a wide runway, and then in turn should result in a tunnel under the road and the sun Sendlinger Gate Square through to the south. The route through the city ring tunnel between Prinz-Carl-Palais and St. Mark's Church was finally connected with ramps in the western Gabelsbergerstraße lead to a high bridge, which should result without crossing over the Schleißheimerstraße across the street at Dachau. The narrow section of road would be eliminated entirely Schleißheimer the street from the train station should be in a straight line and broken super wide to the north. Virtually, of course, the planners had removed from that time in favor of such thoroughfares, the roadside development with the same. Instead, were scheduled individually standing buildings and in which the health department at the Dachau / corner Gabelsbergerstraße is one of the few realized (and probably soon to be torn again) examples.
Even outside the former city, the excavator should have put away the familiar image of Munich radically. The plan shows the proposed four-lane tunnel parallel with Isar under the Prince Regent, of Maximilian, the Fraunhofer Zweibrückenund the street at the Reichenbach Bridge. To create this highway, there were only two alternatives: either the turn of the century building on the banks of the Isar off or uproot the tree avenues along the river. Perhaps even more radical was the planning of another north-south freeway across Haidhausen. This should be at the sacrifice of many street Ismaninger Haidhauser buildings to Rosenheimerplatz and further broken to Giesing. It would have been a pleasure to drive on all these roads, but a frustration of having to look right and left, as here, the city had been thoroughly destroyed.
This destruction was followed, however, a former ideology. Inner cities - that they knew of cities like Hamburg or Hannover - should be no more homes, but take only offices and shops. Core area of use was das. residential building in the center would also disappear soon anyway, and thought the plan was. Since the Lehel was seen as part of the center, left to its old buildings gradually deteriorated. Where was renewed, at the site of the Insurance Board, for example, were built and administrative cases, such as one sees today, shaking his head, ever to half the depth of the building taken back from the road, so this would be widened. As has been awarded the European Patent Office in Munich, one of the core area offered quite safely use an entire street of well-preserved century architecture on the banks of the Isar, in order to build the new office next to the German Patent Office can. This was after the war but also on the banks of the Isar, but built on a former military area. How shortsighted the location decision of the European Patent Office, was seen from the fact that the now necessary extensions to be built entirely in another place, namely as three branches in the southern surroundings of hacker bridge, outside the Old City without proximity to the original building and the German Patent Office on the banks of the Isar could.
It was not the last time resulting in Munich forum that had been forming against Diesey Munich for "car-friendly city" front. The inner circular tunnel under the Prinz-Carl-Palais was the most obvious stumbling block, and commenced the planned conversion of the Lehel another affront to the local citizens. It is the task of planning at that time of the first urban development plan of 1964 (Jensen) plan, an exclusive use area in the center core, living in the suburbs, with the "pink zones" plan heralded a change. From the single manufactured Led by the so-called Isar parallel in the Iffland at the level of the Tivoli Park, the respective second lane for moving traffic is blocked and discarded the rest of the expansion plan, as well as the other monstrous renovation fantasies of contemporary designers. Underground and suburban railways have defined the priorities of traffic in the center of Munich since scratch. With them, it was verified that the European city can be adapted without serious damage to the modern needs of mobilization, so is suitable for this purpose because of its ideal density. And defended the city now living in the city and even demands for new buildings in the old city as a living standard back share of 30 percent or even just where they had already been displaced. The fact that the local real estate prices in this way, only expensive luxury homes are manufactured, is another matter.
