The Black Keys: "We will start recording a new album in July"

One month, one month and The Black Keys and will be recording an album in the studio. This news has been confirmed by Rolling Stone magazine recently interviewed Patrick Carney and managed to get some details regarding the immediate future of the duet was born in Ohio. "We do not know when but we will be ready to record in July" - commented the RS battery. "Probably we have not finalized until around March as we turn a lot. Even so we'll see. After July we will have an idea in our heads of how long we will need for all this. "

One of the biggest unknowns about this new LP is the figure of the producer. Will they return to the Black Keys have the role of Danger Mouse - the producer of "The Way" - or change of direction in their decisions? Perhaps it is too early to know something about it, and having evidence that Auerbach and Carney have been locked in a legal battle against Home Depot and Pizza Hut because of the (rather obvious) plagiarism 'Gold In The Ceiling'.

Plagiarism advertising, new releases, tours through the world (and Madrid too!) ... The thing looks pretty, pretty hot in the heart of The Black Keys over the next months. That the temperature stops rising!

Lana Del Rey - 'Born to Die' (2012)

Lana Del Rey - 'Born to Die' (2012)
And true to its title, 'Born to die' is a secondary road to self-destruction, but not many, but that most sweet and increasingly desperate, the romance of it hurts. Lana's how we portray their world. With phrases like 'I will love you til the end of time' in the nth including his debut hit, 'Blue Jeans', Del Rey judgment the storyline of a disc with amazing themes as much as that 'Video Games' to domino youtube for months.
Chateau Marmont diva opens the album with the song that takes its title, 'Born to die', and tells a story of love found, road and blanket, escape-style Bonnie and Clyde. Far from hipster aura that haunts from day one, Lana gives the public the disk that was expected of her, with the line that promised the issues that we had heard. Lana explodes again and again (and quite effectively) the echoes of Nancy Sinatra songs like 'Carmen' and 'Summertime Sadness'. 'National Anthem' and 'Diet Mountain Dew is your perfect chance to get their hand me' gangsta 'more flirtatious. Although the rhythm is broken a bit with songs like 'Dark Paradise' (sins of excess bases), Lana type and keeps the tempo thanks to the cadence of his voice in most of the issues.
It takes a remarkable in its first foray into the market, but before I open it the same expectations as to other singers like Florence Welch. They are artists with a style and stage personality so marked, that you fear for its future evolution in disks. We'll see what lies ahead in your next job Lana.
What is clear is that no one can snatch great songs like 'Blue Jeans' or 'Video Games' soundtrack absolutely lived more than a summer.
We once said that she looked out of a David Lynch film and I still think, because with this album, Lana has consolidated its alter ego delightfully decadent diva. For you can not find anywhere else than in sunny Los Angeles, with a lit cigarette in hand and a long nail wrapping loops adorning her hair.

The leap of faith of Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem) in London

Some see Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem singer as a "light" that lacks the guts and the blood that characterized the old rockers. Unfortunately for these few detractors their joy will be gone for a well to see that the New Jersey bundled with a jump to the public from an interior balcony at the recent concert that parents of "American Slang" or "Handwritten" (remember that out July 24) conducted in the UK capital.

At the end fortunately nobody was hurt and Brian returned to the stage, smiling and excited after such a feat. Do not know about you but to me this kind of thing I conquer, scenic rock is still alive!.

James Mattock : "It's a good time for British punk"

They formed in 2007, exploded in mid last year and this Saturday we will have them playing for the first time in Spain in Barcelona Rocksound room. We are talking about Sharks, a British punk quartet is doing much to talk with the release of an album - "No Gods", Rise - which has been considered by many to be one of the best LPs of 2012 in that particular, and visceral, sub-genre of rock.
In Bin-aural we are so excited to see them live that we have not lost the opportunity for a mini interview with singer James Mattock. Here we have spoken with the lanky artist on the sex change Tom Gabel (Against Me front man!), The Sharks telephones to Social Distortion / Frank Carter (Gallows) and some other stories related to this promising group born in Leamington Spa. Do not be the last to know of them!.
- Many people are saying that you are one of the best bands arising from this kind of "punk revival" we are living in the United Kingdom. Do you think that is a good time for the British punk scene?- Right now there are a lot of bands of this style in the UK. Are The Computers, Crowns, The Arteries, Great Cynics, Apologies I Have None and Cross breaker. And that's just naming a few, as there are plenty of them in a scene that is growing exponentially. We are living a good time for British punk.
- Which do you think the best song he has composed Sharks so far?- I could not tell. I think we see all our songs differently, and we always create next song is the best. So here's your answer: the next new issue!.- On the Internet there are rumors that you base the lyrics on the stories of Charles Bukowski's books. Is that true?- The truth is that nothing I write is based on those books. Do not listen to all this hearsay. I'm a fan, of course, but none of the works of Bukowski has influenced Sharks.
- The followers who like Bukowski also do the books of Bret Easton Ellis and Chuck Palahniuk. Do you find that the stories of those books could be adapted in some kind of punk album?- The idea sounds very interesting. Why no one has really tried?
- You took the name of a song Gallows. How can you have it mounted to end recently opening for Pure Love, the new band Frank Carter? Has been a dream come true for you?- We became friends by the time he took us on tour with Gallows in 2009. More than a benchmark, Frank is now a friend to us. But tell me this would happen five years ago and would be freaking out.
- Reviewing your historic concert I saw that too girasteis with Social Distortion. What do you consider was the best moment that you lived with that band?- No doubt it was that Mike took the stage with us singing a version of a topic of Social Distortion. If you search on YouTube will find the video of that moment.
- The sound of your band to somewhat reminiscent of Against Me!. How did you react to take cognizance of the change of sex which has been under Tom Gabel? Do you like their music?- We love your songs. I love each and every one of his subjects. And I also believe that the recent news about Laura are great. I'm very happy for her and the band. I'm waiting to see how it will help bring out the album soon. It is titled "Transgender Dysphoria Blues"! Scary.
- Do you think that the old wave of pop punk (Blink 182, Sum 41 ...) is still alive or is doomed to die soon?- I guess it's still alive. We turned on the Warped Tour and there are still several bands that sound like those, and are very popular in America. Even so I'm too detached from the whole movement.
- In just a few days will be in Barcelona for your first concert in Barcelona. Is there desire to play here?- A lot. I hope the weather is good!. We've never played in Spain nor led any European tour so we are eager to seize this opportunity. And very excited too, will be fun!

The documentary by Jeff Buckley

Through the website of the nerd (thanks Pau!) Have discovered that on 27 May the BBC returned to televise "Everybody Here Think's They Need You Documentary," a stunning documentary about the life of Jeff Buckley, probably one of the artists long for the past two decades. This issuance was made to mark the 15th anniversary lived since that terrible day when Jeff Buckley died drowned in the depths of the Mississippi River.

This interesting piece of audio-visual, one-hour, try to approach the talent and the eccentric personality of the creator of "Grace". His relationship with other artists and the particular link that bound him all his life with his father - Tim Buckley - are just some of the topics covered in a report that will delight Buckley.
